THE DAY BEFORE PANIC

I realize that panic, in my case, results from being unorganized and unprepared to leave anywhere at a moment's notice. I also realize that life would be much more pleasant if everything was in its place. Or would it? Perhaps I'm the type of person who thrives on a lack of order. Or perhaps it's the fact that the snowball has gotten larger and larger as the months crept into years that order seems out of reach.

I have a mere two days to wash, iron, and pack our clothes for our trip. That, and cleaning the house to a realistic state. The huge pile of laundry will not disappear in two days, nor will the crap piles in my office magically find their way into organized plastic boxes.
